It was not one of the first serial production plains that crushed it was preproduction one which is considered a prototype and it was 1 out of 10 prototypes which were built for testing in different parts of air force and regions of Russian Federation. Loosing one out of 10 prototypes during testing isn't that horrible there were next generation or air superiority fighter development programs with way worse prototype crush record during preproduction testing phase.
