It's okay to be prepared, just don't go off starting a war unless attacked. An attack & breakthrough could definitely happen, but Russia would need every able bodied North Korean soldier to do that, but that would trigger a war between the US & North Korea, dragging South Korea into the war also, so I seriously doubt Putin wants that unless he already has a promise from Xi that if America gets directly involved in the fighting that China will scoop into the war to help rescue all the Russian & Korean combined armed forces a similar fashion to how the Americans entered WW2. At some point long before Putin ever made it to Poland, the Americans will place boots on the ground & setup shop & start calling in Western arms manufactures & they'll create new weapons manufacturing plants in a safe place much closer to where they're actually needed most, for logistical purposes. China's hoping to chime in at some point in hopes of defeating an already exhausted united NATO force, and the West as a whole needs to be aware of that possibility & plan for it. Once China joins in the war, that'll trigger all NATO forces to declare war against China. At this point all trade with China will halt, all ships, even cargo shipping container ships loaded with trade items will be sunk right off the coast of China. All Western navies would descend on China's ability to receive oil & gas in a desperate attempt to damage China's manufacturing capability, which could easily simultaneously trigger a widespread famine in China, and in many other countries around the world. I don't think China will be prepared to tackle all that by 2027. Russia may collapse long before China can capitalize on Russia's hard work at toppling the West, leaving China further isolated. On the other hand, if Russia pressures China too soon, China may be the one to collapse. I don't think China can afford a war against the US simply because of how many vulnerable mega dams they have scattered all throughout their beautiful countryside, but I suppose anything's possible, but at what cost is the million dollar question. War is an admittance of guilt. It tells future generations that you failed at diplomacy, costing thousand, and even millions of lost lives sometimes. If the communists & vice versa can find out what the other side desires most, then there's always a good shot at diplomacy IMHO.
