These new laws are ten times more oppressive than erstwhile British laws. For example section 187 of BNSS has increased the duration of police custody from 14 days to 60 days. Section 53 has abolished compulsory medical examination of the accused during custody. This is license for custodial torture.

All Colonial Era laws should've gotten replaced right after 1947. Colonial Puppet CONgress continued using them.
