Of course he isn't going to make it look like he wasn't doing his job, if he even knew. He couldn't have know all of the bullying going on, plus there is a video of him obvious getting bullied 🤷🏻‍♂️

I ate alone in high school to study since I had a job 3-8 PM Monday- Friday. Most people that age are insecure and teased about something. Being bullied does not give anyone the right to take your dad's AR rifle and go assassinate others. Parents actions are questionable to say the least.

Weeks have passed and still we get literally no information about why a high achieving and kind kid wakes up one day and wants to shoot the president? Am I the only person who thinks theres some serious information missing?
@adrianhart5244 Says:
Can''t they find more people who knew him?'
@kh839 Says:
Seriously bullied kids do not usually have perfect attendance. If truly bullied, there is usually evidence of absenteeism because there are signs of true threats. Seems Crooks was not the type to care if he was included or not and still showed up every day despite what others thought of him. An excellent attendance record the senior year is unusual--the guy is right. So many do the senior skipping. Schools usually do not make mistakes taking attendance either because every butt in a chair equals public school funding. Crooks was dutiful to his public school, showing up every day. Maybe someone should look into any of his mentors/instructors at the vocational tech school he attended to see if there was grooming there. VoTech schools are alternative education options, but students do not choose them because of bullying.

As someone who has been bullied and has known many others who were bullied in school, the counselors will do anything in their power to deny that the students are being bullied. School bullying programs and counselors are a joke. Listen to what his former classmates have said, they know more than this guy
@thehartzogfamily9502 Says:
Disappointing that the school counselor would make such a ridiculously unquantifiable statement. When have high school students EVER told school admin everything that goes on? And how often do we hear, after tragedies like this, even when there's proof a student was bullied, like social media, text and email histories, that the bullied child either never told school admin or got no response after multiple complaints? I feel for this counselor and others who may have overlooked any evidence of this boys' problems, but his insistence that bullying is nowhere in the realm of possibility simply because he didn't know about it is absurd.
@rrmin36 Says:
Yea as soon as I heard some kid saying that, It was all too ... leftist. Bullied? Really? Cmon...
@chicchi19771 Says:
It still infuriates me that students were denied the right to form a GSA, but the RIFLE team still exists?! I graduated in 96 and I thought it crazy that we had a rifle team then, but to still have one today in this age of school shootings…? BPHS used to be a one of a kind 8 building campus, but was converted to a one building H.S., because wait for it… the threat of school shootings, but it’s OK to train them…Crooks’ didn’t make the team and was told to never try out again because it was dangerous since he was such a bad shooter. Tax payer dollars could have easily been used to train a domestic terrorist, and yet the BPSD has said nothing. No change necessary. But hey, did you know that we are a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence…? Maybe all of that focus on academic excellence should be accompanied by discussions on empathy, kindness, and responsibility.
@chicchi19771 Says:
As someone from B.P., this is ridiculous. Not only did students report that he was bullied, he was nicknamed the school shooter, and one of the kids talking about how he was bullied, was one of the biggest bullies in the school. It’s as if there are consequences to Bethel Park’s School Board being adamantly opposed to anything that promotes diversity and empathy training. This is EXACTLY the type of school that breeds a school shooter and it could have been so much worse.
@jrbaretta Says:
I heard Thomas Matthew Crooks' father, Matthew, guest starred on the reality TV show, My 600 Pound Life. Evidently, they kicked him off the show. I read that Crooks' parents previously appeared in another reality TV show called, Naked & Afraid. At any rate, I heard that Thomas Matthew Crooks' mom and pop have endorsed Kamala Harris for president and will be attending a gala fund raiser for her very soon at the White House where the Crooks will be the guests of honor. It's been said Ma and Pa Crooks are so fat, their idea of a little snack is a quick trip to the local Costco. It's my understanding that when the Crooks first moved to Bethel Park, PA., the town had an all-you-can-eat, for one price, restaurant. The town HAD an all-you-can-eat, for one price, restaurant.
@markjamison9677 Says:
He’s not going to say the boy was bullied because that would be a failure on his part .
@roycarter2797 Says:
Several students and his guidance counselor say he wasn’t bullied. And they also say there is no record of him trying out for the marksmanship team.
@edgegymnastics8409 Says:
Here’s this guys problem 1. He’s not in touch with his students 2. He doesn’t support and judges Trump. And it sounds like many teachers and parents in the school didn’t either… which leads me to believe this contributed to the negative ideas he was fed a lit Trump 3. He doesn’t want to take accountability The only thing he said that was true was that 1. We all need God and to pray 2. Crooks was evil
@4evrBlst Says:
20 years old is way long enough to get passed bullying. I ate lunch alone a lot and prefer it to this date! In 60s of age! Terrorist plotters pick loners often
@4evrBlst Says:
I agree with this man. He was not bullied! He was too smart to be bullied
@P3P33U Says:
Yeah he lost me at two gentlemen heading this country at this time who cant be civil....... Ummmmm, say what now? Which two people is he talking about? Because im aware of only one that spends practically every waking houur naming calling and stoking violence.
@Jeff-bz6jp Says:
Guidance counselors don't know squat. Particularly this old fart.
@niltomega2978 Says:
He was not bullied. One stupid kid said he was.
@wadeebert13 Says:
Hate to tell you sir. He never would have told you. No matter how "Adamantly" you say it - your confidence is laughable.
@SlumberPartyLofi Says:
This guy barely knew him. This isn't an interview about Crooks. This is a PR attempt at not getting fired and defending the school that taught this kid.
@oliviahancook5195 Says:
I believe the kids who saw and knew better wether he was bullied or not but this counselor wouldn't know unless the student come forward or a parent.
@kevinknight8889 Says:
This 🤡 has no idea whats going on with the students...Being bullied dont have to be getting beat up daily...Its as can be name calling..Or pranks being oulled etc etc.....Prayer in schools. Forcing christianty on us is illegal...WE ARE NOT A CHRISTIAN NATION. WE ARE A COUNTRY THATS FREE TO CHRISTIAN...He assumes he would be told. Fire this moron.

Talk to the student 1 time a year, very knowledgeable
@sinisterkitty8411 Says:
Welp, there ya go. It's this quality of "counselor" that serves absolutely no purpose for students. Would you trust this guy with your feelings? All of our counselors were equally useless--only without the prayer talk.
@davidleonhardt5907 Says:
That guy is exactly right, evil exists. I’m amazed that CNN let him on since this man spoke about his faith.
@kidcal Says:
What an idiot teacher. And now we see videos leaked of people bullying him
@Wisebark Says:
Hey CNN, why did you live stream the Trump rally in Butler PA yet never did any of his other rallys?🤔
@insertnamehere6612 Says:
This guy had no place ever being a guidance counselor anywhere ... he needs to be a janitor at a church so he never has to be distracted by anything other than constant prayer
@tedecker3792 Says:
This counselor is clueless, and a Christi fascist.
@PhillyHardy Says:
Isolation! Bullying is much more prevalent in business circles! Think about how u treat even those who think deserve it! U may be shocked! I’m graduated in 2003 hs. All the way back then I can say for certain m if bullying was ever done, it was done to the peo0le trying to bully! Even that’s not ok! We should get to know everyone even as adults! Family and community get to know people and this changes instantly! People in Ukraine and Israel and china as people just like us! Wake up please! No mass incarceration either and treat law and politicians with respect and other need to treat us with dignity and know we aren’t stupid and want the best for all
@PhillyHardy Says:
One side counsels crooks, the other side usually protects all the actual crooks! This kid was a victim, and they never get anyone who matters, and the fireman, even more sad and tragic! I’m blown away kidnapping Biden is ok with everyone! This country seems to believe in nothing apparently
@davidleung2432 Says:
The case flew under the radar. May be the radar did not work!
@chelsealaw9211 Says:
Why are we not charging the father??? He allowed this kid to have access to the gun. He should be in custody immediately!!!
@wendydelia4813 Says:
My son had a hard time with one particular student in 4th and 5th grade. I did talk with the teachers who said they would keep an eye out and I do think they tried, but one day when he came home pretty upset I asked if he wanted me to talk to the teachers and he said, “no mom, they never do anything anyway.” Disheartening. What’s the point of anti-bullying programs if they’re not followed?
@shazamshazamshazam696 Says:
Religion is not civilized it is how primitive societies control the masses, primitive is not related to technology advances, it is a social status and societies controlled by religion are primitive and based on un-proveable beliefs.

@RogerPitney Says:
Amen. Praying changes God's mind 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
@merrim7765 Says:
One of the most despicable cases I've ever seen of bullying was when MTG followed the survivor of a school shooting and taunted him as if it hadn't actually happened. She's a member of Congress. And nothing was done about that. She should have been censored and lost her re-election.
@danatirrell2457 Says:
What a creep! He is the kind of guy I stayed away from. CNN, really? Creeps tend to hide behind religion. A counselor?
@kevinkline6835 Says:
So Mom's a Counselor. Dad's a Counselor and this dude is the nut jobs Counselor. Make's ya wonder how all these Counselor's got their jobs?
@docmychedelic9153 Says:
It’s 100% true that the more religious a nation it is, the more violence and the less happiness. Not to mention all the child abuse across all fundamentalists. We need therapists who use science not counselors who support superstition.
