This PM is on some unreal drugs if he thinks for a second telling your boss to stick it is showing loyalty !! It's shows none of Labor have ever had a real job or run a business.
@DanielKreyzig Says:
Most people only want to get paid by the hour at work, 7 hours a day x5 days a week. I don’t need to be smart to figure the numbers. I just feel sorry for the employer because they are responsible for the employees. That’s why I work for myself. It’s more important what I make per fortnight. Pre peace is better. The faster I can work the more Money pre day a can make. Be governed by the work load not the hour.

Fun fact: if you're Jewish youve been eligible for the right to ddisconnect from Friday to Saturday night. I've known non orthodox jews to take advantage of this. I think if it was Muslims doing this sky news would be outraged
@maxinegalpin6068 Says:
We should be able to disconnect with albo he is an employee of the Australian people
@datepalm1969 Says:
When the employer's boss contacts the employee after working hours, it is usually to ask the employee if he or she is able or would like to work additional unscheduled hours of paid work, to which the employee usually responds favorably in order to increase the employee's income.
The employee is under no obligation to accept the employer's request or offer for unscheduled work. In instances where the employee does not accept the employer's request or offer for unscheduled work (which in most cases is due to the employee's prior commitments during the time of the unscheduled work is required), the employer simply offers the unscheduled work to another employee.
In rare cases, the employer contacts the employee outside the employee's scheduled work hours to resolve a minor matter, for example, to locate a misplaced key to a door or cupboard, to locate a document file in the computer, etc, all of which are resolved in a very short period of time, and do not inconvenience a typical employee who is reasonable and more than willing to assist their employer.
This law reminds me of the law that requires employers to switch casual employees to full-time or permanent employees in instances where the employee has worked sufficient number of hours on a casual basis during a financial year. The negative consequences of this law is that if the casual employee approaches the threshold for the number of hours worked during the financial year, the employer who does not want to switch a particular employee from casual to permanent, simply reduces the casual employee's hours for a period of time, and makes alternative arrangements to fill the gap. And when this happens, both the employer and the employee are inconvenienced, especially the employee because his or her income is reduced. So, the end result of this law is a 'lose-lose' situation for the employer and the employee, rather than a 'win-win' situation.
The above laws are typical poorly thought through knee-jerk reactions that characterize Labor Governments.

'Where is Albos loyalty to his employer, the Australian Public
@pistolpete8539 Says:
Albo is full of bull-sh*t and worse still, Albo is now starting to believe in his own BS lies!
Truth of the matter is, Albo has never ever held a "real job" as an employee or employer in the "real world", outside of politics since graduating. (Neither has Chalmers or Gallagher.) So what does Albo know about company loyalty? Absolutely NOTHING! Albo has been a parasitical tick on the taxpayer his entire existence since he was in nappies. Albo's mum taught him well.

@Ds-lq3tc Says:
Bye Bye Albo..
@KF-bj3ce Says:
In some way Anthony Albanese is right and I take it he meant quality as well, but this takes the pretext that a worker understands the connection between productivity, quality and salary. Perhaps Anthony Albanese should go to the field and analyze of how much work time is spent texting instead of doing work. As I see it for this to work there would have to be some cultural change.
Further more some of these young workers entering the workforce can not even add up simple numbers or fill out a time sheet. To negative, well may be so, however look at productivity in Australia, that will fill the gaps. Needless to say there are some work starters that I had total respect of, and would not ever fall behind in any way.
