Paul Murray obviously doesn’t understand basic macroeconomics. Too many mistakes to list. Example he can’t tell the difference between monthly and quarterly inflation, when the figures are actually annual rates. He then cherry picks the things that have gone up but fails to mention the things that have gone down on an annual basis. Basically he’s not reporting the facts just his preconceived bias

Bananas this week in my local supermarket were $4:55/kilo. A friend in the U.K. recently bought bananas for 80p / kilo there. Most fruit and vegetables were cheaper than in Australia. Seems our inflation is ‘homegrown’
