A lot of comments are made by people who are not aware of world political history between 1940 to 2000. Rivalry and conflicts were different than today. During those period India was a backward country after the British left. The country was impoverished . The west just ignored India and helped China to be what it is now. Itโs just that India is buying oil from Russia because west has ramped up buying oil from Middle East and others sellers like Iran and Venezuela are also barred. India can not afford expensive Middle East oil for its mass consumption. Given how historically Russians have helped India in the past. Ukrainians should be thanking India for not actively supporting Russia by ammunition supplies.
