Well, as far as them not first of all again, another instance were somebody was notified that this kid had problems. This kid was thinking about killing somebody and they did nothing so first the school people should go to prison. Then the cops should be reprimanded and the parent needs to go to prison. I’m sorry we cannot keep dealing with this. I am. I have kids in school and the Democrats have destroyed our Justice system and every way we let criminals out on the street. We blame the wrong people guaranteed those people are Democrats. The parents are Democrats parents teach your children about God and tell him the truth stop listening to lies and CNN and maybe this will stop happening.!!!!!!’m

@franclineallan675 Says:
I want to approach this issue with respect for its profound seriousness, especially in light of the four lives tragically lost. This isn’t about politics but rather a broader reflection on the narratives we build and how they impact global perceptions. When I think back to CNN's headline during Obama’s visit to Kenya—“Obama is headed to a hotbed of terror”—I am reminded of how Western media often perpetuates damaging stereotypes about other nations. It saddens me to see how blind many Western countries, their media, and leaders can be to their own biases. They often operate under the assumption that they define the world order, rendering them immune to criticism.
The escalating issue of school shootings in the U.S. is more than alarming—it’s systemic, and addressing the root causes has become an urgent matter. Yet, this crisis exposes the same global disconnect. Western nations, especially the U.S., tend to impose their values and judgments on others, assuming moral superiority. If a country like Saudi Arabia, for instance, sets boundaries aligned with its cultural beliefs while hosting an event as significant as the World Cup—such as not allowing LGBTQ+ activities—then that decision, controversial as it may be, should be approached with respect for the nation’s sovereignty.
What strikes me most is that, as Africans, we are increasingly seeing through the polished image once painted of the U.S. As our continent grows in its influence and identity, we recognize that the Western narrative, which glorifies itself as the standard-bearer of morality, democracy, and progress, is flawed. It doesn’t align with the reality we observe. Instead of aspiring to an unattainable model, we are finding value in forging our own path, whether through deeper alliances with countries like Russia and China or through greater self-reliance. The global order is changing, and it’s time we respect one another’s differences without presuming that one way is superior.
@kw6769 Says:
Sooo shouldn’t those parents also be charged? He was too young to buy a gun and since the father claimed he had no access when he was 13, well unless he broke into wherever that gun was, the parents are just as guilty because as parents with weapons in a home, it’s a parents responsibility to keep their kids and other people safe. Especially since he was flagged by the FBI. I guess therapy at that point was out of the question? But with his aunt being “outraged” that he’s being tried as an adult for killing and wounding people- two kids died and two adults with families are dead, but she’s outraged about her nephew, like be for real.

@MFsecret1 Says:
If it was a black or hispanic man i guarantee people would be less sympathetic to this kid. They would be hysterical and crying to lock him up, his mental health is a danger to society instead of babying him.
@MFsecret1 Says:
I’m a student and we really need to get out and protest. Gun owners and politicians are always the voices being amplified and not the people affected by this. Never the kids. The Fbi failed us, they could’ve stopped this. The governor is offering his “thoughts and prayers” 🙄 I think we’re beyond that. Unfortunately nobody cares about us until it’s convenient for them. Conservatives are worried about immigrants and not the terrorism committed by these pasty white boys.
@reimannx33 Says:
I am sure that the nra sends psuedo thoughts and psuedo prayers as they count their windfall bank accounts.

Why arent they releasing the information about the weapon used? This should be a very easy fact to obtain. the public has a right to know.

When I was growing up in the 80's and 90s, we would just beat the crap out of one another and then shake hands. I blame the parents for allowing their children on social media at a young age. My kids didn't get cell phones until they were 18.

GUN LAWS TO REQUIRE SAFETY LOCK ON GUNS AT HOME!
@ThePopArtGuy Says:
Thanks to Republican Politicians and trump who keep military assault weapons in the hands of everyone and refuse to make these weapons illegal. If stricter laws won't prevent bad people from doing crimes then why would you want stricter laws at the border???? Bad people are still gonna cross regardless of laws so why do anything about it. Hypocrites!

All the shootings in my country are from guns coming illegally from the U.S. Why do you Americans love guns so much more than your children?
@reinbos907 Says:
It is tine for accountability.
As long as the NRA is recognized as a proud institution that proudly represents their gun owners....
Then they, the NRA ought to be responsible for the financial consequences of the victims of gun violance.
Funerals costs....hospital bills and for the surving families.
Same when people parish in plane crashes.
@yoganandg8003 Says:
What can you expect when gun access is so easy in this country.
Even the so called third world countries know this simple thing that guns be given with license and every bullet given/used be tracked. yet this developed country doesn't understand this simple thing.
And then people/politicians come and say prayers and heart with those victims, what's the use?
