China had ten years to learn but consistently failed to learn two important lessons from the 2014 tyhoon to prepare itself for this devastating 2024 typhoon! Why didn't China build an extensive network of underground roads, rail, power stations and generators, shopping centres, hospitals, schools, emergency shelters, etc. and also innovatively build wind-turbines capable of harnessing such strong wind forces into electricity?
