It seems like this lawyer is trying to say that, because Diddy wanted to surrender, that it makes him look like less of a risk compared to a guy that gets arrested regardless of the charges against him. His rationalizing sucks. Diddy was going to jail no matter what and he was going to be charged with crimes regardless of whether he surrendered or got arrested.
