I love this woman. Pure class and so much humility. She's a living legend.
@samhu5878 Says:
Very interesting how she dodged the political question that started the interview. Very clear and solid message for a journalist.

Connis is so classy, smart and her voice is so soothing.
@ln6420 Says:
Connie knew that, she should not do anything against Barbara, otherwise she would lose her job.

Connie Chung Is Amazing 👏🏿 🧡 This interview was excellent! I will definitely be reading the book.

Ah! In last minute the host tries to push a 'race and gender' card onto Connie Chung. Ms. Chung deftly cuts her down. Broadcast news was a tough and competitive business. Has nothing to do with your race and gender. Dan Rather would have been upset, "if they put a plant next to him".

Gracious lady but I would have fought for the Paris gig.
@roguephoenix Says:
isn't diane sawyer the one who interviewed britney spears before and she kept asking her about her boobs and creepy stuff like that, and eventually made her cry?
@L1623VP Says:
9:52 After this race-baiting host tries to make Connie's firing about her race and sex, Connie basically says, "Nope, that wasn't it." How could her firing have been because of her race and sex when she'd already been anchoring the evening news for two years? She would have never gotten that job in the first place if the network was against her race and sex. What a stupid assumption on the part of this ditzy young CNN anchorette. If anything, it was about Dan Rather's ego. He didn't want to share the spotlight with anyone, regardless of their race or sex. He would have pushed his co-anchor out from behind the desk if it had been a 30-year-old man, too.

I've always thought Dan Rather was a jerk.

Connie rocks!

Such slanted journalism!
@amberjulia123 Says:
She is WISE, perceptive, and intelligent. I love that she pushed back on the assertion that an anchor who had never been made to have a co-anchor ONLY didn’t like her because she was a woman and was Chinese. 🙄 What nonsense! Glad she didn’t take the bait.
@mimsicle1 Says:
Connie is an accomplished and capable woman who is very beautiful. She was always professional.

Walters. Yuck. So obviously puffed up, disingenuous, and opportunistic. I never bought her as empathetic and caring. She came across as just a bad actress.
@Tears77529 Says:
Wonderful Connie! She is graceful, poised, and a really good newscaster. But her husband? Yuck!! I truly believe his show influenced the culture in the worst kind of way! It was just junk television. Very much like the National Enquirer newspaper. Connie is like a reputable newspaper versus malicious and salacious news/shows. Total opposites. They say opposites attract; I guess that's one reason why she married him.
@RioLaVie Says:
Trisha Takanawa is rolling!!!!! Yall ain’t even mentioned her
@bluestrife28 Says:
I’ve wondered my whole life what the real story was I just remember her being everywhere in my childhood and then suddenly she wasn’t. Back then you only got what information they gave you, you couldn’t just google it. Little disappointed in Dan but as im older now I totally get how easily threatening changes can be to something you worked hard to get and keep. Sometimes though, I think it’s more a win to be a legend in your own time, and she’s certainly been that.
@cheryldodd-marko9787 Says:
Always loved her.🕊🇺🇲💕

True GRACE AND CLASS!
@igloozoo3771 Says:
Bobby Lee does a better Connie Chung than Connie Chung.
@panderichthys_rhombolepis Says:
She seems to have a problem with her speech. Which makes me wonder if there is some issue with the brain.
@tw364 Says:
One of the absolute worse female anchors. Compare her to Jessica Savitch who had 10x the talent of this woman. Connie was a double minority at a time when Female Asian anchors were rare. Nothing special, she was always expressionless and read everything in the same monotone.she looked good on TV but that was it.
@raulmedina3585 Says:
I thought Connie Chung pass away many years ago . I am glad she’s still alive. She looks good at her age She was a great reporter.
@jemme758 Says:
Connie Chung had the best fashion of any newsreader I’d ever seen at the time, particularly in the 90s. So elegant and refined.
@gracegui4910 Says:
Wisdom. I don’t think I would have put up with this if I were her. She is on the news so you can only say some things…😅
