Everyone knows Sanjay Roy was not alone and there was a big group involved. But the State Govt is protecting them at all costs. CBI investigation seems to be an eye wash. Very sad state of affairs. We are proud of India GDP growth and our being the fifth largest economy. But there is no safety for 50 % of the population that is women. Can we really say we are developing as a nation if women are so unsafe and there is no deterrence for such crimes. Most rapists go unpunished and even if convicted, the case will go thru courts for years before a final judgement.
