Bernie Sanders view from his millionaire, government official pulpit is WRONG and completely out of touch, CLUELESS!!!
@Coowallsky Says:
Bernie claims to be an Independent but won't run as one. He knows what side his bread is buttered.
@TheChessPlayer1956 Says:
I didn't vote for Trump but I didn't vote for Harris either! This was the choice my country had to offer me?? This country was made great through capitalism, not socialism. Sorry Mr. Sanders, you don't have the answers. To quote the Joker in Batman 1, "This town needs an enema!"

@sarahelizabeth7389 Says:
Bernie is correct, as normal 😢 I have gave up on the democrats and as a lifelong democrat, I have changed my voter registration to Independent. Democrats are moving further right and are not fighting for us the way they should. I'm a Bernie person through and through. Dems are failing us. We need better, we deserve better. The democrats left me long before I left them. SMH
@MB-sj2lx Says:

@salrusso1233 Says:

@johanfick3932 Says:
Bernie Sanders' economic policies, though well-intentioned, represent a fundamental challenge to the principles of free-market capitalism that have lifted billions out of poverty and driven unprecedented global prosperity. His vision of extensive government control—guaranteeing jobs, healthcare, housing, and more—ignores historical evidence that such policies often lead to inefficiency, economic stagnation, and reduced innovation.
Examples like the Soviet Union and Venezuela demonstrate the devastating consequences of overreliance on state intervention: chronic shortages, inflation, and widespread poverty. Sanders’ proposals, funded by massive tax increases, risk stifling entrepreneurship and investment, undermining the very economic engine that creates jobs and wealth.
Capitalism, through competition and innovation, has proven far more effective at reducing poverty and raising living standards. Overburdening the system with government overreach risks unsustainable debt, bureaucratic inefficiency, and the erosion of individual freedoms. History shows that the free market, not central planning, is the most reliable path to prosperity and progress.

People don't seem to understand the democratic party today. Bernie Sanders is too much of a socialist for them, it will be similar with AOC eventually. The Democrats are not left wing

Hmmmm, this from a two time lose for the Oval office himself. Trust me, this is a man who has no compassion for others. He's rude, arrogant and egotistical. He's an Independent and so am I and I would never vote for this man.
@brittenyevans1101 Says:
Dana still doesn't get it. And , if Hillary Clinton and the democrat establishment didn't sideline Bernie. Things would be completely different.
@stefal22 Says:
He’s got it right that most people are screwed by the system and even if they work their asses off they still cannot buy a house and have a family. He then put on his ideological blinders and blamed it all on the rich. He’s a disgusting ideologue and an unscrupulous populist. Why don’t you talk about the 8% inflation that has been going on for decades and has eroded the purchasing power of hard working people you old fart. Oh wait because you would have to blame yourself for that.
@Winterfang Says:
Bernie is absolute right, the corporations are chocking the working class.
@DavidJensen-tu5zp Says:
This man should be president
@Angelfox51 Says:
He speaks so well, and nailed the issue of the economy today, not just in the US but in most part of the world. The conservative economics started by Reagan and Thatcher created a new medieval like society where 90% of people have not enough to live well and 1% of people have all the power and money.
I don't know why his voice was not heard enough.
@bslay4r Says:
The thing is if the nominees get their money from donations then you can't expect anything good that helps ordinary people because the donations come from corporations. So Bernie Sanders was never gonna be a president (or nominee) because he is against corporations.
Both party serve corporations throught donations and not the people. They're basically the same in terms of economic policies with small differences.
The only solution would be a state-sponsored nominee system forbidding corporate donations. In this case nominees with ordinary folks in their mind would come forward.
@EddyTeetree Says:
why wasn't he saying this for the past 4yrs?
@benbunyip Says:
Bernie, you are right, but you underestimate how disenchanted people are at Democrats positions in the culture wars.
@teffanymalone7121 Says:
The bottom line is who are trying to make real changes for the lower class to put an end to the crime rate. When will be people wakeup and start hitting the legal system and making them accountable for the illegal actions being committed by the 1% which includes Trump. The only people loosing is the people.
@cate1657 Says:
Of course Senator Sanders' statements about the working class are exactly right; but, that said, it seems that nobody wants to reveal the actual reason why working class Americans are suffering: our whole governmental system is purposefully designed to keep the power of where and how money is distributed in this nation--you guessed it: the design (especially since the 1970s) is such that those with wealth, especially the corporate class, actively prohibit any legislation coming from Congress that would in any way jeopardize their control and power over where the money goes and how business is conducted. The working class will continue to suffer, continue to need federal spending toward lack-luster "programs" supposedly designed to keep people in need able to survive.
What Senator Sanders doesn't talk about is the remedy to poverty, homelessness, underpaid workers, housing needs, medical shortages for people without big dollars:
passing big, meaningful legislation that protects workers' interests instead of corporate protections, as allowed now. With a return to American workers being paid a good wage for their labors, coupled with a mighty tax bill to keep American corporations paying taxes on profits at the 90%-level, this country, in just a few years' time, could see a substantial shift away from misery, poverty, sub-standard housing, medical & food "deserts", and life could well return to the 1950s/1960s-type levels of economic growth that helps to sustain a decent standard of living. But that will take elections of candidates that are not financed by huge corporate bucks which they throw around to "buy" their own special brand of candidate. When regular people begin to step forward with good ideas for the growth of the middle class, fighting the power of money in electoral politics with appeals to "The People" to vote as though their lives depended on it--then we'll see some progress toward fairness.
In the meantime, a large swath of American society will continue to suffer--particularly what's left of the working class.
@Korenski23VO Says:
The problem with the Democratic party and Republican party is that they are NOT democratic in anyway. Bernie had the popular vote of the people and the damn Dems chose Biden. Biden accomplished diddly and now people are surprised that Trump has made a comeback. People feel like they have to choose Rep or Dem because the Independent party never has a chance, and that's a crying shame and should be changed. We should have the leaders we want, not the one's we get stuck with.
@NerdFiction Says:
Bernie want's to get Citizen's United overturned, because if billionaires aren't able to exert their wealth over the political parties then Bernie would have become president.
So yeah, we should overturn citizens united since it has literally removed the will of the people.
@sylvie2519 Says:
Bernie speaks truth. He is the peoples's choice
@taylormartin271 Says:
I wish more politicians were like Bernie. I agree with everything he said. I would add that Democrats need to make it more clear that they are not in favor of extreme far-left policies (I mean are they even really left, because no sane person left or right wants this?) such as allowing children to undergo transition surgeries in schools without parental consent (also this IS NOT HAPPENING). Donald Trump ran a campaign on fear-mongering and lies, and unfortunately many people believed his lies. The Democrats did not do enough to stand up to his lies. I will say as an independent who votes Democrat, I voted AGAINST DJT, not FOR Harris. I almost sat this election out honestly, but 4 more years of Trump and the realization that he will likely be even worse (more prepared) this time is what made me vote. Bernie is right, the Democrats do not do enough and they are not even fighting for anything substantial. We are so tired of the status quo and feeling like we are voting for the "lesser of 2 evils." I want to vote for someone I'm actually excited about. I've spoken with many friends who feel the exact same way, I don't understand how the Democrats are so out of touch. Be like Bernie and AOC and actually talk to voters and actually have a backbone to fight for substantial policy changes.
@jameysummers1577 Says:
Bernie should have run for president again.
@CrowdPleeza Says:
Biden-Harris and Alvin Bragg made it easier for Trump to get re-elected.
Biden-Harris screwed up the handling of the southern border. The Alvin Bragg indictment was weak and looked political to most. That indictment got the Trump support moving.

@PatFlash2 Says:
Paying off student loan debt helped a lot of those high income people, using the tax dollars of those lower income people. It WAS Biden’s fault that there was a massive transfer of wealth to the rich-that’s what the COVID lockdowns did. Raising minimum wage only raises prices for everyone. Bernie’s socialism plans with bigger Government control does NOT improve life overall for Americans.
@BomonySam Says:
Let Bernie stay with Pol Pot's groups in Cambodia.
We don't fight. We do problem solving. It's ongoing things.
One kitchen per village all over the country like in Cambodia in 1975, we got killed 3 million people.
