The Yulong Snowy Mountain tunnel on the Yunnan-Tibet Railway was completed on May 5 after more than eight years of construction, marking a significant milestone in building the Lijiang-Shangri-La Railway, an important section of the Yunnan-Tibet Railway in southwestern China. Over 200 incidents, including water and mud gushing, have taken place due to its complicated geological conditions. Authorities have mobilized professionals to cope with the various challenges multiple times. The 139km-long Lijiang-Shangri-La Railway has 20 tunnels in total, with 19 completed so far, and is expected to go into operation within this year.

Congratulations! What an achievement. When I went there 20 years ago, the bus ride was very bumpy as they had just started building a better access road to connect both places. Can't wait to visit Yunnan again. Beautiful place.

Edit: Here is my response to comments below. Nepal needs to develop very close ties with China and close border with India. Nepal is probably the most pro-Chinese country on Earth, and already we are very close to China. China's GDP (nominal) per capita is around $14000 in 2022. It has not reached the European level yet. Chinese universities such as Peking and Tsinghua have not reached the level of top US universities yet. In the future, China will achieve greater success, and become a true superpower.
