There could be a very wide field of contenders to replace UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
However, the leading candidate at the moment appears to be Defence Secretary Ben Wallace after a recent poll indicated he is the most popular figure amongst the Conservative party members.
Mr Johnson will serve as the caretaker Prime Minister until his replacement is named, following his resignation.
