Sky News host Chris Smith says electric vehicles in the United Kingdom are failing the police service.
'They're running out of charge before being able to reach emergencies,' he said.
Mr Smith said the UK police and crime commissioner is concerned about the electric fleet � as he should be.
'You can't put the car before the charger, if you can't charge them, they're useless,' he said.
'A concerning example of how unreliable these electric vehicles can be but moreover, how green governments jumped the gun to look on-trend, without doing the due diligence.'
