Hotdog eating champion fights off activist mid-bite
Sky News host James Morrow says to celebrate the fourth of July, every year a hotdog eating competition sees contestants 'force unimaginable quantities of snags down their gobs'. Mr Morrow said this year, reigning champion Joey Chestnut won for the 15th year in a row. '(He) took the title again by downing 63 hot dogs and buns ... while also taking out an animal rights protester who interrupted him in the middle of downing hotdog 18,' he said. 'Anyway it turns out the protester was from a group upset about a particular meat packing facility they called the Smithfield death star - that's what it said on his t-shirt there. 'Joey went on to down 45 more dogs without missing a beat and take the championship again.'
