Quarterly inflation rates expected to 'ease a little bit'

????

Commonwealth Bank's Head of Australian Economics Gareth Aird says according to estimates, inflation will get up to around seven per cent through the year. 'But it's probably worth saying that the quarterly rates will probably ease a little bit from here,' he told Sky News host Chris Kenny. 'We're kind of in this unusual place at the moment where the annual rate is lifting but if you look at the quarterly change today, the increase over the quarter of 1.8 per cent was a little bit less than what we saw in the March quarter which was an increase of 2.1 per cent.'
