Russian streaming platforms exploded with the song devoted to a catastrophic multiple defeat of russians in Chornobaivka, near Kherson. This song was written by Ukrainian artist. But suddenly it became so viral, that authorities started blocking not the song itself, but together with the whole music services. Russian and foreign ones. So now 'Russian culture' more and more gets concentrated around balalayka.

I've been working on collecting Ukrainian songs to put into a playlist on my phone, so I can listen to them while driving. This video has made me aware of several I hadn't gotten the names of before. I'd have loved this music, even if it had nothing to do with the war...I'm always interested in good music, no matter where it comes from. However, one Russian folk group I like, Otava Yo, I think I'll not play while this war continues...the last thing I'd want, is for anyone to get the impression that I support Russia's aggression.

I question that "there are no good Russians". In the early stages of the conflict there were protests in Russia where Russians protesting against the war were arrested. Call me crazy but it seems to me that if a Russian is protesting and/or showing support for Ukraine then they can be put in the "good Russian" category .. JMO.

Today no human life was lost in the EU or NATO from this war on Ukraine by Russia, just arms and money being invested but if and when Russia will engage in direct war with the EU or NATO then there will be human life losses too. Right now, Ukrainians are suffering life losses at large be it civilians or their defence force, who knows tomorrow who will be the next?
If Putin and the Russian militant stop the invasion, then the war ends: but if Ukraine stops defence, then Ukraine ends!
