Currently 18 active cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia

????

There are currently 18 active cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia, with 15 in hotel quarantine and three in self-isolation. It comes as Western Australia records two new local COVID-19 cases in the state, both linked to the backpacker who arrived from Queensland and tested positive for COVID. All contacts from the Perth Mess Hall event, attended by the backpacker, are now required to get tested for COVID-19 and self-quarantine for 14 days from the date of exposure after they were reclassified as close contacts yesterday.
