Northern Territory cyclone downgraded

????

A tropical warning for northern Australia has been downgraded as it crosses the west Top End coast. Forecasters are still warning of heavy rain and squalls. A severe weather warning was issued early on Christmas morning. The storm is expected to cross the coast south of Dundee Beach, about 130 kilometres south-west of Darwin, before moving south-east today and Monday. Northern Territory Emergency Service advises people to secure loose outside objects and seek shelter when conditions deteriorate.
