Queensland scraps day five testing requirement for interstate arrivals
Queensland Health Minister Yvette D'Ath says the day five testing requirement for travellers entering the state will immediately be scrapped. "The Chief Health Officer has advised us that the data that we have received just in the last 24 hours can show that we are only seeing about a 0.6 per cent positive cases coming from those day five tests," Ms D'Ath said during a media conference on Tuesday. She said this means the day five test will no longer be required. "And that means, immediately, starting from now ... anyone who is waiting in lines now for their day five test, can leave."
