Perrottet: Many people in testing queues 'do not need to be there'
New South Wales Premier Dominic Perrottet has reiterated the importance of residents only getting tested if they are required to or are feeling unwell. "I want to thank everybody for their patience and the sacrifices they're making as we're moving through this transition period," Mr Perrottet said during a media conference on Tuesday. "I want to reiterate again the strong message that please only get a PCR test if you're required to do so if you're feeling unwell or if New South Wales Health has contacted you, or you are required to for interstate travel. "We are still seeing many people in those queues who do not need to be there." Mr Perrottet said the state government is doing all it can to get the lines shorter.
