The 99-year lease of the Darwin Port is set to stand after a review from the Defence Department.
It was reported in The Australian this morning that Defence has found there are insufficient grounds to undo the lease.

You can nationalize if the whole industry is being nationalized, showing no discrimination. On national security grounds etc...Expropriation is still an option, but compensation must be paid and if the corporation is being punished and is not a government owned entity, you might be asking the question as to whether you are blaming a foreign investor for acts of a government that are not of their doing. Darwin being a strategic defence location may also warrant specific national security considerations.
