'Lack of leadership' in Morrison government during COVID crisis
Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese has slammed the Morrison government for its "lack of leadership" during the current COVID crisis. "It is absolutely extraordinary that the federal government are not providing any support for the purchasing of rapid antigen tests," Mr Albanese said during a media conference on Wednesday. "We know that there are queues here in Adelaide of up to eight to 10 hours in order to get tested." He said in some parts of Australia it is not even possible to get a test. "What we're seeing is that people want to get tested because they want to keep their families and their neighbours and their community safe -they're not doing it for the fun of it. "Australians once again are doing the right thing, but Scott Morrison and his government are, once again, showing a lack of leadership."
