NSW Premier welcomes removal of Queensland PCR requirement
NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has welcomed Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk's decision to scrap the PCR test requirement for interstate travellers. The state will instead allow a rapid antigen test result from January 1. "I want to thank Annastacia Palaszczuk for the decision that she made today in relation to the removal of requirement for a PCR test from 1 January," Mr Perrottet said during a media conference on Wednesday. "There are many people who are lining up in those queues who do not need to be there. "We are doing everything that we can to increase capacity and put downward pressure on those queues."
