Harry actually didn’t pass the test to get in, he was “placed” in there. He was academically, let’s say, unremarkable, no one to boast about, even failed his pilots licence test 3 times, never achieving it.
Harry was placed out of harms way in Afghanistan and highly protected, even slept through a brief attack on his base camp.
