Combat medics, doctors, nurses, attendants all go through a special kind of Hell in wartime. They see so many die who need not die, and it comes so fast and so often that the person becomes numb to what passes before them. But they often dread falling asleep for the rest of their lives. Ukraine should not fight WWI. Ukraine should not fight WWI style. Uk,raine should take the Innovation View. Improvise and Overcome. Ukraine should take the Entrepreneurial view - think only in terms of Value Add. Only do things that buy Ukraine something. Ukraine fighting a WWI style war of attrition with russia in 2024 - only serves Russian and putin - why? because it is all they know. They do not know anything else. But that option serves Ukraine - poorly.
The correct model for Urkaine is Resistance. insurgency. Guerrilla Warfare. Focused,. Brutal. Goal driven. Guerrilla Warfare. Couple that with the Gulf War Model - where the USA simply went after Iraqi Command and Control.
Ukraine can and should direct russia command and control in the Occupied zones.
And Ukraine the doctrine of Self Defence. What ever you do to me, I can do to you. Attack my power grid, then I will take down your power grid. Attack my grain business, then I will attack your oil business.
The answer for Ukraine is not in the trenches of Ukraine - but in the infrastructure of russia. and the command and control of russia.
