Lets see, will they build this army and give it to the west to fight other blacks OR will they do the right thing and not be overthrown.

I believe Uganda, Kenya, & DRC should collaborate on a defense industry. They can provide weapons for East & Central Africa. Ghana & Nigeria can take care of West Africa & South Africa can take care of Southern Africa. Defense is extremely important for Africa moving forward.

This is very important for our economy because it will help to reduce Uganda's Military Budget in the long-run. The beginning will need a lot of money (or a high Military Budget) but it's worth it. As UGX continues to face exchange pressure due to halted Funding by the World Bank& suspension from 'US trade deal', focusing on cost cutting and boosting our Manufacturing industry is very essential. In the end an ordinary person will benefit through reduced costs of living among other benefits. Recently, I looked at figures of Global Military Budget specifically 2022. Uganda's is not the worst. The problem has been that we spend heavily on imported Military equipment but we have no Military equipment to export and it creates a continuous Balance of Trade deficit. This is not only affecting Uganda's economy but Africa in general. Therefore, it will be a great economic gain if African countries make self-reliance(Militarily) a key Objective. With the help of Military researchers and technical people we may also start to export Military equipment to other continents in the future. That said, Africans must know that the biggest weapon to create peace in our continent will never be importing the biggest/strongest guns but UNITY.
