As the CFO of Airbus said Boeing is not just damaging its own reputation but it is undermining passengers confidence. We should never have been reduced to just 2 major manufacturers BUT the US Government(s) let us all down. Firstly they did nothing to help Lockheed after the Financial impact of the L-1011 Tristar Secondly they should NEVER have allowed Boeing to swallow up McDonnell Douglas Thirdly they should NEVER have been SUBSIDISING Boeing for decades BUT they are still at it with UNREQUESTED (USN) FA-18 Super Hornets Orders followed by Cancelling the REQUEST from USN for the Lockheed Martin F-35C. This is used to subsidise Boeing again along with the sudden order for CH-47 Chinook Helicopters. Lockheed Martin should sue the US Government. Which is the MOST INCOMPETENT Boeing OR the White House?

Are we going to hear in the news that this brave Whistleblower committed suicide? Our government should be protecting these Whistleblower’s for their safety and the safety of people flying in allegedly unsafe aircraft. Over the years we have heard about many “suicides” from Doctor’s curing people without big Pharma’s expensive drugs, to Whistleblower’s trying to alert the public about their safety being at risk. Our government turns a blind eye to this.

An Iranian whistleblower who offered not a shred of evidence to support his insane claims
@LRRPEXILE Says:
Now, with all that being said - The important and only question we should focus on now is - Did the previous whistleblower actually killed himself in his vehicle at a hotel parking lot ?? - We the people know Boeing had something to do with that!

This is the freedom of entrepreneurs in the USA, For example, a car manufacturer finds out through tests that something on the car puts the passengers in danger. Then we calculate and test and in the end it turns out that the change would cost 23 cents per car. But this change is not being implemented because it is calculated that claims for damages in 20 years will only cost around 21 cents per car. So you saved a whole 2 cents per car, but it's worth risking a few lives. If a manager is afraid of not receiving his bonuses because the workers demand a safe workplace, then the law is changed and the worker has no right to a safe workplace. The manager gets his bonus and the politician also gets his money's worth.

Really? Are they made in China by any chance?
@Reefahholic Says:
Yeah, bye bye Boeing.
@XWXW-lk4jf Says:
Yes, it has flown millions of miles thus far and the whisteblower is not denying this nor is he saying they are all dangerous this very moment. The 787 is pretty much a brand new aircraft. The oldest examples are maybe a little over 10 years old and many that are significantly younger. These planes nowadays fly for more than 30 years and he is saying that as they age and as the stresses takeoffs and landings, depressurized to pressurized stresses on the fuselage start to add up, that this is when things could start to get problomatic with the misaligned parts of the fuselage that the heavyset engineers were doing the Funky Chicken dance on.

Boeing is what happens when an airline manufacturer cares more about its shareholders than about its passengers.

I made parts and heat treated them for national air defense contracts and I had to sign a paper that stated if I signed off on defective parts I would be changed and arrested with a felony.

@fankrys Says:
Not good for American Boeing, very good for Europe Airbus
@kenk8242 Says:
This people are not coming forward because they are lying. They gain nothing. However Boeing has every incentive to lie and coverup these things. It’s very obvious there are issues with the aircraft. I will not fly on any airplane that is the subject of a hearing.
@ricangirl02 Says:
Shameful
@invinoveritas6859 Says:
So flying with Boeing is like flying with unfriendly sky?😳
@keithbusick6859 Says:
Isn't ironic that the Demacrat lead Senate is investigating Boeing for curuption and cover up they don't even have to leave their chamber if they want to investigate curuption and cover up start with Schumer

last week tonight did an episode about Boeing a couple weeks ago. I don't wanna step on a plane ever again after watching it!
@samione4397 Says:
This is so scary! Why are they still allowed to put these time bombs in the air???
@Genesis-007 Says:
This is one of a few reasons the whistle blower who was in the process of testifying against Boeing was found dead, he was about to expose damaging information against the company someone didn't want him to.
@sitchad Says:
Uh, well how come the 787 has been in service for over 10 years with over 1,100 in service flying millions of miles and yet, none have fallen from the sky, none have crashed, none have had doors fly off, so I wonder, was this "whistleblower" overlooked for a promotion or did someone mis-gender him/her/them/they. I have flown on the 787 many times and it is a wonderful plane and seems very safe.
@talbenavraham1478 Says:
There can be few things that scare more than the prospect of a plane failing and crashing. Without absolute assurances that the plane is safe, nobody would get on it.
@romeonijsse2359 Says:
Next news item: whistleblower: Boeing 787 dreamliner was actually designed as a bicycle 🚲

@vhltu Says:
to be fair, Boeing would not risk to use defect parts...are we born perfectly? sometimes...there are defective parts which are made from machine. Machine is subjective to the temperature, part harness, human calculation errors, part ages and some part of machine can be intermittently bad. who knows? as an engineer, i feel amazed of Boeing. there is not even 1 one air plane explosion in 13 years. everyday, there are million people travel by air and so far, we are still alive and kicking. Let's wait for design engineers to make some assessment. Quality engineers often follows the product design specification. the design specifications are reviewed by the design and quality assurance team. if indeed there are design flaws then Boeing xx7 would have problem on the first day of air craft release.

...duh... Did not Need a whistleblower to know this...
