Once again…the RBA have not once said they would cut rates this year.
The cash rate is a measly 4.35%…amongst the lowest in the western world.
Rates only need to be cut in absolute emergencies….like a full blown recession or Covid etc.
I think rates have more of a chance of rising than reducing this year…because there’s zero chance of a cut.

A rate CUT? The information that the AUD is the lowest in 5 months means that inflation is the highest in 5 month.
One has to wonder about the rate at which the Australian government debt would be re-financed if the national currency is so weak.
