Why are people still classifying Joel Cauchis attack as a mental illness when he was not in a psychosis and was fully aware of what he was doing when planing the attack and picking and chosing who he was going to kill , he clearly targeted females and it is clear all his actions before the stabbing was trying to position himself in close proximity to females by trying to work as a male escort.
Everyone who kills anyone has a mental illness and blaming a mental health diagnosis that he was diagnosed with at the age of 17 schizophrenia and was taken off his medication which was approved by his doctors have nothing to do with what he did on the saturday afternoon in bondi.
A withness who saw Joel cauchi face to face said that he was walking around normally and calmly like he was eating icecream while strolling along in a park while killing women only sugest to me that he wasnt in a frenzied psycosis and the cctv footage of the attack clearly shows that. Not to forget that weeks before the attack he was sharpening his knives, and going to Parramatta and Penrith Westfields shopping center assessing the shopping center to see how many females there are shopping on certain levels.
His own father even stated when asked by reporters why did he target women he responded with " He targeted women because he coudlnt get a girlfriend and he desired one so badly that he was frustrated out of his mind"
And all of the people who knew joel cauchi said that he was a normal boy when he was talking to them, and never had episodes of psycosis or hallucinations etc.

Mental health support in first place has to be neutral. Not to support the sponsors and to tell people what’s wrong to be ignored just because it is done by untouchables. We need to encourage mental health to look at issues objectively and help people honestly and truthfully. People no need to take the wrong path like happened in Bondi at all. It is horrifying just to drive by and feel this incident just happened few days ago. This shopping center is a place love by many of us and it is horrible to have to now have police roam everywhere just to stop a potential recurrence of a Bondi stabbing. And police can’t hold up all. I trust honest and true mental health support is the way to go. It is no where near the level it should be by looking at many instances now have unfolded. Let’s get this right!!

I have worked in the System and honestly it is abhorrent. Nobody cares, there is no support, money is embezzled and when programs are funded they are bare bones. I have seen how Germany's System works and it is far superior with Group therapy and programs that don't end the second you walk out the door.
This isn't just a mental health issue I think it is more a social issue aswell.
