Just the usual Labor thing - tell the electorate that you have a fantastic plan to restore the economy, produce a surplus, and so on based on the most most optimistic assumptions and then, when the beautiful dream fails to materialise, explain that it is not Labor's fault and 'unforeseen' circumstances have let Labor and Australia down. Not their fault. The give away is that other economists (and even non-economists) predict what is going to happen correctly.

In my years I have come to the conclusion that: One useless man is a shame, two is a law firm, and three or more is a government!!
@lesblack413 Says:
Labor Government's view on managing the economy can be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. If it stops moving, subsidise it!!
@darrylwhitley877 Says:
Chalmers is, a politician, the most untrusted profession, and of course blames the previous government for all of labor's own indescressions. Chalmers for certain will succeed Albo, who will be kicked to the back bench soon. Bunch of galahs !!!

The country is in recession and heading for a depression under this government. And the treasurer should stop taking orders from the IMF as they are advising him and the country further into poverty.

Chalmers as far as I know holds no qualifications in economics. I imagine grim Jim is making excuses for his poor performance before we see the results. The blame game continues.

How can a country with 34trillion in debt have a good economy. This kind of allusion to 'the economy' seem rather nebulous and probably not indicative of the financial circumstances fir individuals. What it seems he means is 'the economy is good for international bankers'.

Inflation and Mayhem is going to get much worse because we are in The Forth Turning. Major Wars happen in Fourth Turnings and Peter Zeihan has said that the STUFF from China may just STOP coming one day. Thus is why they are pushing domestic manufacturing because they know its coming!
