'Reducing emissions' is a very curious expression. Is anybody out there able to QUANTIFY these often - referred - to emissions. My own research suggests that Australia's current CO2 emissions would amount to about 1 part in 10 million, and if that were reduced by 43%, it would then be approx. 0.06 parts per 10 million. In the worst case scenario, it would currently be 2 parts in 10 million (1ppm in 5M if you prefer). Helllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bowan bangs on about all the jobs but what he doesn't tell you is that most of the renewables jobs are filled by backpackers and short-term visa holders. The developers are adding workers camps to their proposed projects now because there isn't enough accommodation available in the towns and villages. The total camp accommodation applied for is up to 7,000 workers for our region so far. Where is the water coming from for all these additional people? How will they deal with the raw sewerage and other waste water? How will we cope with additional general waste? The proposed camps will consist of rooms with enough space for a bed and toilet and shower and will be air-conditioned. These camps will all be powered by diesel generators and the projects will run for between two and three years. The hypocrisy is staggering. There might be plenty of short-term jobs, but not for Australians. We don't have the population to support the installation of the so called transition.

The problem labor does not think it has to face is - cut off the produce of the farmers - cut off the minerals - and their royalties. And there would be no food to feed Australians with. And labor would be broke and have nothing to spend in government. The Australian stock market would crash. The Australian government - could not even afford to even run government services. You hear labor say all the time. Nothing happens outside a major Australian city that is important. That tells you how stupid labor is. And it shows in their decisions. They wont venture outside an Australian city - because if they did - real people - would tell labor the truth. And labor can't handle the truth. Watch any labor press conference - all they tell is lies. The truth for labor - is a distant memory. Like the days - when they they did make decisions - that looked after Australia and all Australia's. That's something labor never considers. The facts.

"High temp coal" power and "mini nuclear" is better than "green" power. Aren't solar power farms hurting the "dreamtime flood snake".

Professor Plimer, I have the greatest respect for him. The young fellow Will Shackel who is leading the push for Nuclear Energy could learn a lot from Pro Primer.

We live in country SA, and everywhere we look there is either windmills or acres and acres of solar panels. Our farm has escaped this scourge so far, but we worry that one day we'll be getting a visit to our farm gate by a renewables company and a government goon.

Queensland has so many cars registered on the road now, they have had to drop one letter and add another number. The roads are so full of dangerous potholes, the lines need to be repainted, where is all that cash being funneled off to?

Try living in the outer western suburbs of sydney. The young people out here are are doing it hard. Sydney seems to end at Leichhardt it seems.i knew two beautiful young men who have suicided within the last year. Mental illness is running rampant. The richos only care when something happens to them( like Bondi) and then we all must mourn for weeks.
