This is a good take and applies at both state and federal level. Enormous numbers of government supported jobs with misuse of funds, poor use of funds, poor control of capital going into major works along with general mismanagement by a politicised lap top class. In turn, leading to costly and poorly delivered services and massive cost over runs on major works. Remember this, public servants at state and federal level were paid throughout COVID - whilst the private sector paid the bill. The performance of the public service on many fronts is poor, worse still they inflict policies on the general public that often hurt the general public. We are very badly governed thanks to the ineptness of the LNP and ALP and the politicised public service that support them. Australia is polarising into two broad groups (1) government and government adjacent and (2) private sector and private sector adjacent.
