What a great aspiration and inspiration from president Xi's idea of common prosperity.

Common prosperity is good but not discriminating the wealthy elites. Currently successful businessmen are fearful of the government cultural revolution era mentality.

I guess China is projecting their good experience in their country and population to the world. Prosperous partnership is always much more productive than the current occidental "Master-Slave" model !!

A sense of common prosperity was something we had in the UK when I grew up 60 years ago. That common prosperity, protected by Social Democracy, is something that has been gradually destroyed over the past 45 years, only to be replaced with the rise of corporatocracy, now in the guise of free-market libertarianism. Good luck to the Chinese. And I hope they do not repeat the mistake made by the west, which only benefits a small percentage of our people.
