They should also protest what the uni is probably about to do to our Elder Conservatorium of Music! The pricks at the top already took away so much of the courses already 10 years ago! 1.5 years theory and history instead of 3 years each! 45 min private lessons down from 1 hour! A boring normal performance assessment just in front of teachers instead of final year recitals for all to come watch! I don't even know what they did after I left too but it seems a skeleton course in comparison to what it once was! :( now they're apparently wanting to change the name of the con!?? Like ffs why!? It's the Elder Conservatorium of Music and they shouldn't change it for no good reason! The only good thing I hear is they MIGHT introduce music therapy as a course finally so that we don't have to study it interstate or abroad! I'm not flying to Melbourne 4 times a year and learning guitar as part of a prerequisite when I play the friggin harp and sing which I think is way more therapeutic...
