China has been manoeuvring to close shipping lanes to south Korea and Japan which are two of Australia's major trading partners. We have a strategic and commercial interest in keeping these shipping lanes open

Soft on Chinese aggression but blames all men for violence against women. What a smooth brain.

Murray has repeated this multiple times now despite complaining about other news agencies "looping" news for their own agendas. China does not care and is not in any way threatened by us. Our bluster only makes them laugh. Love how Murray is now a diplomatic expert on international affairs. It's Iike listening to my uncle at Christmas time. The fact is China continues to isolate itself from the world and has become a pariah due to their aggressive behaviour. They are preparing for war as should we through alliances and pacts. No amount of complaining will change their attitude. The Philippines have responded to constant water cannon attacks by allowing more American bases on their soil.

Australia is part of the world and part of democracy and it abides international laws..., china wants to own the world created its own international laws, they are slowly crawling in someones territory, because thats there ambitions.., but some people wont care because they are faraway from china untill china sleeps besides them...

UH 60 seahawk is use for Anti submarine warfare , it is definitely not for sanction against North Korea . And Hulu island at Yellow sea happen to be China largest submarine base . You sent a anti submarine helicopter to the vicinity of China largest submarine base and expect them to not react ? And call them aggressive ? Australia should have known if you want to play with fire , dont cry when you get burned

Was the Chinese jet near Melbourne and Sydney? I live in Melbourne, and I am scared.
@Koala63211 Says:
I feel very worried when I cannot believe a single word coming out of the mouth of our Prime Minister and his Noddies standing around him. This "Game Playing" by foreign forces was going on when I was in the Australian Navy from 1964 to 1984. I served on ships where our Captain pushed the boundaries as well. Whether you like it or not, that Australian warship patrolling in that area and its helicopter were pushing the boundaries. They were duly warned that they were being observed.

Caomrade Absentese wont4say anything against his Illustrious Leader, Little Trotsky sees Jimping as a Communist God, and holds him in the ultimate esteem. We have a communist in our PMs chair, do you really think he will ever speak ill of anoyher communist?, think about it....
@andrewstackpool4911 Says:
Of course the Chinese in both incidents blame the ADF claiming Toowoomba and the helo were in or close to Chinese waters even though both were in International waters. Albanese and his cohorts we are now advised have NOT raised either incident beyond uniform to uniform. If true, he is caught out as liar and his two ministers as gutless. Not that the Chinese could care. These incidents will continue, and Albanese is going to have Navy or RAAF personnel brought home in bodybags. That photo op pollies adore. We need to upgrade our ROE to include passive warning/aggressive stances.
@jmchng9662 Says:
What outrage you can show when your military helicopter is looking for trouble by venturing too near their territorial airspace & waters?
@littletony1764 Says:
Labor are communists and they worship China - so nothing to see here, move on. And you still get the fools that vote for this clown show - and their own demise!

@jennyohara4011 Says:
Why are their Sanctions on North Korea in the first place? Australians are falling into poverty more every day, what budget do we have for implementing sanctions that no one even knows about it.
@jennyohara4011 Says:
Dropping Flares is a defensive act, Australian Fascists such as Sky News want to create a boogy man so we can buy even more weapons from the American Military Industrial complex
@user-wm3ue4uf5h Says:
As S.P. Huntington observed: "The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion (to which few members of other civilizations were converted) but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence." The propagandists and demagogues are peddling cold-war type confrontation and aggression. The Yellow Sea is almost 7000 km away from Australia, no country would allow encroachment and provocation near its territorial water by foreign military aircrafts, particularly under the guise of UN mandate.

what is our military doing 8o km from china?
@hokroeger Says:
Americans and Australians invading Chinese territorial waters, with only a single purpose: Provocation. If the Chinese react to the provocation, Americans/Australians start whining and crying: "They are bad". Hypocrites from top to bottom!
@PopulismIsForBottomFeeders Says:
We don't want to get into an 'outrage off' with China. They're masters of throwing massive ugly-crying tantrums over the **slightest** transgression against them. They're absolutely farcical. The Chinese foreign ministry chucks an absolute wobbly and it only makes them look deeply insecure and weak, not like the Superpower they claim to be. Why would we want to look as dumb as them?
@oldmatefromdownunder Says:
what were australians doing no where near australia......looking like americas strategy of provocation lol
@user-so4sy3yn5y Says:
just curious about why Australia army appears in the area where far away from their own nation, when they were kicked due to the provokes then cry like child๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
