Lovely older buildings on big blocks being demolished to throw up units or multiple houses on top of each other.
Destroys the character of older areas imo and the new places have little room for a yard and don't work with the environment most of the time.
I'm very happy to say we're NIMBYs if it means the birds and critters have somewhere to live and our Grandkids can run around or we can keep a few animals.
Hopefully one of our kids will take it over when we're done so that it can stay out of the hands of developers.
