Those chants indicated to me .
They may have had prior knowledge the attack on October 7th was going to happen & some of our Palestinian civilians possibly have a connection with the Hamas .
But never the less Australia had never heard of the pro Palestinian movement prior to October 7th attack on Israel & they have been allowed to spread the hatred of Israel & Jewish ever since .
Something else I find extremely odd is that the Pro Palestinian Support Movement started in every country around the world the next day after the attack.
That stinks to me like a part of the Palestinian Hamas / Iran planning was to place operatives on civilian populations of the world to start the pro Palestinian movements to spread its propaganda campaign & create the disruption through the world that it has done . .
No evidence to prove that theory.
but it's rather odd that every country had sane story & timing these pro Palestinian movement started .

These are not protests but riots, they need to be stopped and the activists ( which most aren’t students) in jail. Protest must have permit be peaceful and not disturb the community or cause damage. Protest permits then limited to ensure the police have time to deal with them.
