Seems they have more levers to pull to bullshit to their voters than they have to control the economy.
@Willberight2moro Says:
Labor has one goal and that is to divide Australians... I'm sure the vote chasing sweeteners will win the nieve prior to elections, but true blues are sick of red lies....
@kerry-leeangel1656 Says:
The ideology of our present government is un- Australian. Wake up. It doesn’t belong here.
@craigjesperson3902 Says:
Sadly Australia isn't the country it used to be in the 70s 80s ! The wonderful life we had, then mass immigration and now we have terror issues and a cost of living through the roof, and that's just for starters! Just ask anyone who is trying to survive, so much disharmony between so many different cultures, its not rocket science to know that there will be disharmony between people yet the governments went ahead and did this and now we have a meeting pot in our own backyard.
@fionaforward3358 Says:
What would you expect.?We are not allowed to celebrate Australia Day and we white Australians are continually being shamed for our colonial past.The voice campaign made it worse where so called aboriginal leaders implied we have no right to be here..My family traces back to the first convicts and settlers and I am incredibly proud of what they made of themselves.We should have a Thankyou day to acknowledge their hard work and dedication in setting up this country.We need more flag raising ceremonies and the singing of the national emblem.We need to focus on what brings us together,not divides us.
@user-gm4tx2rm1i Says:
What pride in our country? There is none.The Australia of old is long gone.
@shyamchabra5355 Says:
The Coles and Woolworths politics has seen this country run into the ground. It is far away from everywhere, and has long been a refuge for the world's dispossessed. DEBT is the issue we should be concerned with! Nobody talks about that on here!!
@scottclark1634 Says:
The country is a shitshow now its not the same. Could be anywhere its feeling overrun by foreigners and people are unhappy. Thanks to shit government get them out!
@ianwaldron-jo4nq Says:
When those carrying a palastian flag and indigenous flag and dragged our flag through the dirt.was a. Disgrace and white Australia should have risen up and let them know how proud we are of our flag
@user-vu3xp3oz2o Says:
this is hardly surprising and will only worsen

Hello
@jjsc4396 Says:
If you feel like you “belong”….just wait till the Canberra stooges dump another 700,000 migrants on you during a HOUSING CRISIS!
@b1l2a3k4e5 Says:
Housing market. Very simple. Why would anyone feel a sense of belonging in an overpriced rental and property market? It doesn't matter what you think, but young people see it as boomers having benefiting greatly financially and younger people feel like they'll never get a start no matter how hard they try.
@edmurks236 Says:
Must admit my family/ancestors/pioneers have been here over 200 years white/Celtic Anglo but with lots of rels who have married into different new arrival cultures as well as Indigenous etc all of whom I have respected/welcomed etc etc but I am beginning to feel a sense of not really belonging in this country any more, I even feel a bit marginalized, despised, and was thinking recently the country has changed so much, it has become is so negative, even nasty and foreign, I don't know what's Australian anymore. Queensland seems to be the last remaining part of Australia left.

@nathanpenman7057 Says:
Born here and I don't feel I belong at all, if I could get out to england I would go.
@GingerNuts361-ny4qp Says:
Australia’s capital cities now look like foreign countries, hence the lack of sense of belonging. Not complex
@frankcoates4609 Says:
Young Australians need to get off the left leaning arses and get aspirational, not flop around doing drugs and homosexuality and living at home. Peter Dutton put abos in their place and he can put antisocial youngsters in their place as well. Go the Libs, nuclear here we come.
@AussiePom Says:
You do realise that this sense of belonging survey is taken from people on social media like Facebook, Instagram and X. This is why the Voice referendum failed because the government looked to social media people thinking that was all of the Australian population. But many of the Australian people aren't on those sites so they fly and under social media radar. Plus the way the survey is conducted is often done with loaded questions to get people to answer the way those conducting the survey want them too. Were you upset the way the government suspended your civil liberties in the pandemic? Yes. Are you upset the way foreigners are allowed to buy property here at full market value raising the price of property way beyond what ordinary Australians can afford? Yes. Are you upset about the large amount of migrants being allowed into Australia? Yes Do you believe the multiculturalism is watering down the home grown Australian culture? Yes Do you believe that the government doesn't care about the Australian people and only cares about itself? Yes. Is your sense of belonging to Australia diminishing to low level YES. They don't publish the percentage of those answering Yes to the first five questions but just those who answered Yes to the last question. Call me a cynic if you wish but a cynic is what an idealist calls a realist.
@Josma432 Says:
That’s no surprise. The government just about says straight out to be ashamed of Australia and too many young fools believe it. It’s the government I’m ashamed of, not our country.
@petermurphy2167 Says:
I talk to young men tradies and their sence of belonging is zero percent.
@ianjones7740 Says:
The real question is… Who is being told to ask these questions and, who is ordering the questions to be asked in the first place.
@anth5189 Says:
Too many f-ing imports that DON'T BELONG HERE. Boot them.
@rabidsminions2079 Says:
Young people go to school where mass immigration has meant that there are little pockets of ethnicities or large numbers of a certain foreign ethnicity who attend that school. There are schools where you might have less than 10% Anglo background. What national pride do you think they would have or sense of belonging. Same for uni and workplaces where everyone is different and ethnic people group up why would they feel a sense of national pride their pride is in their country from where they came from as their country is a monoculture country where everyone resembles eachother. Thats why young people will not join the defence force, fight for a country that does not resemble them? F' that.
@Jason_g_kennedy Says:
Family, community, country. They destroyed the family unit, it's a house of cards society.
@meipakyu4688 Says:
Stop Muslim migration to Australia. You do not want to imitate what is happening to UK. You don't want major cities of Australia flooded with Muslims then become Muslim cities like London! Muslim are moving to major cities, then after becoming voters, they will use their number to elect a Muslim politician to control the city! Learn from London mistake!
@rabidsminions2079 Says:
National pride in Invasion Day where people would rather work than take Invasion day off ooh I wonder why there is poor national pride maybe because any culture that was from 1970' where everyone used to say g'day is long gone thats been diversified out of our vocabulary. What we have now is anti male feminist culture, a culture of domestic violence that is currently a national crisis according to Albo and mass migration, diversity is our strength culture that has made people and society feel Alienated and fragmented as people look around as see local people who don't resemble them people have nothing incommon with each other and often dont even speek the same language. Now we have small little groups of people who settle in different suburbs with people with the same background and ethnicity.
@savagegfry Says:
Clearly, the education system, the Marxist mania taught to our children, for the last ten years, has been very effective.
@user-dy4mx2ok4y Says:
Sense of belonging is secretly about racism, Australian government sold the country for money.
@rabidsminions2079 Says:
How can you have a sense of belonging and community if no one resembles you where you live? Remember Diversity from mass migration is our strength. Also we don't have any national cultural days that brings all Australians together.

those stats are so sad...take your country back Aussies,,,we stand with you from Canada.
@BelieveAllMen Says:
Why would any decent Australian want to belong to a country with a government that steals from them, that falsely imprisons them, and sexually abuses them?
@sharonjohnstone9896 Says:
The sence of belonging to me is feeling what we all knew is gone. We have to change everything to pander to other groups that come here. These groups keep their identity, yet we can't cause it will offend them. We were built on other cultures and lived side by side, now we can't fly our flag without being told we're racist. This is just my account of it.
@Taff71 Says:
Love Australia love being Australian. I’m not holding back anymore, stand up and be strong.
@nateclarke1179 Says:
We are being told by our government to hate ourselves... Being Australian is bad. Our own government hates us... what is there to belong to? I was born here, Aussie born and bred, yet I am constantly being told that I am evil by my own government all because of the sins of people in the past that I have absolutely no connection to.
@nomyafiftyonefifty8081 Says:
Hands up who thought multiculturalism would be great??
@BelieveAllMen Says:
How can you belong to a country when you keep getting told to move on somewhere else? By dual citizens who D.E.I.ed their way onto a cushy council job and barely speak English?
@dylangriffiths5284 Says:
Make Australia great again.
@kevinmoor6408 Says:
Who did they survey? Muslims and university graduates?
@user-ik3bx8yf6t Says:
I am White and my family were convicts on both sides. My family have fought for Australia in every war we’ve participated in since 1788 and I used to love this country growing up but than someone with the name Eddie come along and it started when we started pandering to islanders and compensating them even though they aren’t really Aussie and allowed boats full of people who worship a pedophile who flew around on a magic carpet with a nine year old child bride to dictate what food we can sell in shops and what we can celebrate even though Aussies who are true Aussies families fought Muslims in WW1 and they were our enemy to buy up our most expensive real estate while real Aussies can’t afford to even buy a home in this country. I hope they don’t ever expect me to fight for this country if we are actually invaded I suggest you get the “Traditional Owners” to go off and die fighting for “Their Country” I honestly don’t know why my family ever fought for this country I would gladly receive a feather in the mail before risking my life for this hole of a country.
@kelly916 Says:
Blame the politicians. Australia isn’t run by Australians anymore that’s the problem. Politicians can fight the wars
@anthonyneff9595 Says:
Yeah Australia is the best country ever😂
@julieschmidt5217 Says:
As a 4th generation Australian..do I have a sense of belonging......not really. we are now being told how to live by migrants wanting to change OUR laws and customs so they feel like they belong. NO Easter or Christmas etc but we now tolerate Diwali and the like being made important. come on Australia we need to fight for OUR flag again.
@birgittabirgersdatter8082 Says:
