The worst part of this is that the information was (pardon the pun) "Leaked" and then you all made a joke about being the best time for criminals which many a dimwit would take seriously. The police have a hard enough time without a weakness in their system being shouted out for everyone to hear. Hope that the plumbers and tradies can fix the problem fast. The Watch Towers are the first part in the system of being arrested and that's all arrests. Severe crimes get processed and criminals await transport to other secured holding houses, the majority are the misdemeanours who might be drunk behaviour and stupid decisions that may have hurt themselves or others. They sleep it off and get sent on their way with a court date, imagine someone like that sleeping of their stupid decision has a roof fall on their head, that's a law suit. Police discretion with stuff like that can be seen as an alternative like getting a sober friend or relative come and pick their stupid butt up and take them home with a fine. If they can't find that they have a duty of care to make sure that person is still safe.
