CNN said it so it must be true, right? never mind that during Operation Desert Storm CNN started broadcasting on a Kuwaiti Beach awaiting a Landing by US Marines. The landing never happened because CNN had been fed that infomation specifically because US CENCOM knew Saddam watched CNN. So, not only was it a ruse, but it proved that CNN was willing to risk American lives for a story.
CNN also testified to the validity of the Steel Dossier, which was later proven to be fabricated.
Now it gives a very vague account of Israeli Dentention Facilities (which by the way are overseen by ICRC, The International Committe of the Red Cross)... Just like America's were in Iraq.
