NSW SES calls for volunteers to fill sandbags
The New South Wales State Emergency Service is calling for volunteers to urgently help fill sandbags to fight flooding on the Central Coast. They must be able to shovel sand, be fully vaccinated and willing to do a Rapid Antigen Test on arrival at the Erina meeting site. The Central Coast has received 140 millimetres of rain in just four hours. Volunteers at the Gosford branch of the SES have attended more than 180 emergencies and seven flood rescues in the region over the past few days.
