The death toll from a major rain event in Queensland's southeast has risen to five as an evacuation order is issued for parts of Gympie.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced the evacuation order earlier on Saturday, affecting around 700 residents.
'If we don't do this now, people will become isolated and trapped, so we are proactively putting out the emergency alerts today,' Ms Palaszczuk said.
I thought everyone whose are living in Flood Zone already got used to it? Why everytime there is a flood. It all sound like it just happen the first time?
