Poland has refused to play in next month's 2022 World Cup qualifier against Russia in a stance against Moscow's invasion of Ukraine.
In a public statement, the Polish Football team says it wasn't an easy decision, 'but there's more important things than football'.
Poland was scheduled to travel to Russia on March 24 and face off against their national team.
Earlier this week, the football associations of Poland, Sweden and the Czech Republic advised FIFA to stage any World Cup playoff against Russia outside the country.
