Right now in Victoria only 4% of power is generated by solar, despite 9 500MW facilities in operation. 60% of the power comes from coal, 13% from gas, 12% from NSW hydro 9% from wind, despite over 30 large wind facilities in operation. So called "renewables" are a gimmick. A Nuclear industry in a country with 1/3 of the worlds uranium is a no brainer.

What plan, wheres the detail. Taylor said it wouldnt be taxpayer funded, Dutton says it would. Littleproud wants to dismantle all the renewable projects and sell coal. O'Brien says there may be more than one reactor per site, at $20 billion plus per reactor. What plan are they talking about. Where are the costings, its a dogs breakfast as Dutton would say.
@Dismas2503 Says:
The cents won't be common, they will be big $$$$ power bill increases to pay for government debt and very expensive nuclear energy.

Lol Our plan is to do nothing except ride the taxpayer funded gravy train for as long as we can while delivering nothing but fairytales and unicorns πŸ¦„ J. Hume πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†..πŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’Έ When nothing changes Nothing changes...🍾πŸ₯‚

I won’t be voting for it.

China doesn't run much on their rubbish renewables so why should we? They use coal and nuclear power stations by far and still building dozens of new coal-fired power stations and several new nuclear ones to boot. Australia appears to be run by morons voted in by morons. Hopefully, that will change come the next election.
@user-pj5ub5cp9k Says:
What type of nuclear reactors, how much will it cost, and when will they come online?
@dominicpelle7841 Says:
MORONS HAVE NO IDEA: **Japan is releasing RADIOACTIVE waste water into the ocean gradually, with a green light from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The first release is one of four, scheduled between now and the end of March 2024. The entire process will take at least 30 years.25 Aug 2023** Try that by 7 reactors... ☠
@MrPopo-nn7kp Says:
It's not. Neither side's plan is a good plan
