I have two teen sisters, an 8th and 11th grader, and I was scared of this for them. Mom has kept them on and off virtual learning since the pandemic because they wanted social interaction. For now, they are fully online students, and it is one of the best decisions that have been made for them. They wanted to return to school this year, but Mom was not having it.
I am scared of the world my children will be growing into.

This is so sad,I'm tired of these school shootings, I live in Michigan and we just went through this a couple years ago at the school my nephew went to and he is traumatized for life!!!! It’s so sad when school isn’t an ideal place for safety anymore. When I used to practice intruder drill for my pre-schoolers, I felt sorry for them. I had ZERO experience about intruders when I was in school age. As little as 3 yrs old, they all have to go through such experience & practice how to behave. This is one of the reasons why I homeschool my boys.
