Since its founding in 1829, the Democrat Party has fought against every major civil rights initiative and has a long history of discrimination. That is correct; the Democrat Party defended slavery, started the Civil War, opposed Reconstruction, founded the Ku Klux Klan, imposed segregation, perpetrated lynchings, and fought against the Civil Rights Acts of the 1950s and 1960s.
In contrast, the Republican Party, founded in 1854, was an Anti-Slavery Party. Its mission was to stop the spread of slavery into the new western territories, intending to abolish it entirely. All this information is completely unknown to most Democrat voters. They have no idea about any of this when it comes to the Democrat Party because Democrats lie to the public and accuse the Republicans of being the historically racist party.
Voters are being made to think that the Republicans are bad, and the Democrats are good. A lot of Americans are taught that the Democratic party is the only party for the working class and African Americans. The true history of the Democratic Party needs to be made public and taught in schools.
Everybody should be made aware of this information so informed decisions can be made because the media indoctrinates the American people and tells them what to think and what to believe. Until they research and find truthful information for themselves, the American voter may never know the truth.
African American people especially need to wake up and discover the Truth. More American citizens are becoming open-minded, and willing to go on this journey of learning about the true history of American politics
