India's biggest trade partner is China. India is allowed to do all the business with China but Nepal is not allowed to talk and even look towards China?
Every country has its needs and priorities.
For example; India flips both sides of the coin., it gets closer to Russia as it needs military arms and energy supplies from china.
India gets closer to the USA as well, cuz they need America tech, a market for IT, manpower and counter Chinese aggressive.
This is called geopolitics and one should not view Nepal as being favouring one side or another. It does the best to bring investments and what it's people. The same goes for India.
